MANILA – True to its commitment of connecting more Filipinos around the world, mobile services provider Globe Telecom now offers more ways for its subscribers to access Facebook sans data charges.

With Globe’s new in-app feature, customers are free to choose how they want to access the social networking site. It could be through Facebook with Free Data, Free Facebook for 7 days for TM subscribers or Free Facebook with GoSURF for Globe subscribers.

“We are thrilled to connect more Filipino users to their favorite social networking site and drive the country’s positioning as the Digital Lifestyle Capital of the World.

As more customers are embracing the digital lifestyle, we want to provide Filipinos more ways to access Facebook with free data and connect them to the rest of the world,” Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business Dan Horan said. “Free Facebook is back and it’s here to stay!”

Facebook with Free Data

Facebook with Free Data allows Globe subscribers to access a lightweight version of Facebook, giving internet-capable mobile users more control of their data usage. For this, subscribers only need to have the latest version of the site installed in their mobile phones, and then all they ever have to do is to visit the site in their browsers.

Free Facebook for 7 days

Free Facebook for 7 days allows TM Choose-Your-Number SIM subscribers to access the full version of Facebook for 7 days, giving users a free trial. For this, subscribers simply need to text “BONUS FB” and send it to 8888. They will receive a confirmation shortly afterwards and can then visit the site.
