Chris Brown barred from leaving PH

MANILA — American hip-hop star Chris Brown was barred from leaving the country following a fraud complaint filed by indigenous Christian group, Iglesia ni Cristo.

Brown failed to show up in the scheduled New Year’s Eve concert at an Iglesia-owned Philippine Arena last year.

He was  quoted saying on earlier reports that he lost his passport.

The Department of Justice, however, said that Brown has to prove that there are no grounds for the charges raised against him.

In a video posted on his official Instagram account which later on appeared to have been taken down, Brown was seen saying:

“Can somebody please tell me what the f**k is going on? I don’t know. I’m reading headline after headline. What the f**k? What the f**k is going on.”

The video showing Brown in a hotel room with soda cans and snacks scattered on tables was captioned, “Obama!!!!!”
