Buencaminos thank everyone for prayers, support
MANILA — Actors Nonie and Shamaine Buencamino on Sunday thanked everyone who supported and prayed for them following the death of their daughter, Julia.
In a text message to their talent manager, Ricky Gallardo, the Buencaminos expressed their gratitude to those who “condoled with them, prayed, supported and thought of them” in the past few days.
Julia, the “Oh My G!” star was found dead by their household help on Tuesday.
Authorities said that Nonie Buencamino signed a waiver “manifesting not to pursue the investigation as they fully believed that their daughter committed suicide.”
In an earlier statement, Gallardo also said that the family are asking for the privacy as they mourn for Julia’s death.
“We would like to make a firm request to allow us to mourn her passing in private. We make this appeal for privacy also on behalf of those close to us, who wish to remember Julia and celebrate her life in peace and quiet.”
“We thank you for your love, understanding, and prayers of support during this time of profound grief. Julia led a beautiful and blessed life, and she will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by her family and friends,” the statement said.
