Janella Salvador ‘shocked and saddened’ by Julia Buencamino’s death

MANILA — Janella Salvador, a good friend of Julia Buencamino in the morning youth-oriented series “Oh My G!” was “saddened and shocked” by Buencamino’s death.

“I am deeply saddened and shocked. No words. Rest in peace, bestie @hoolianabanana. May your soul be guided by G,” Salvador said in post on Twitter.

“G” is the name they call God in the program.

Buencamino, the daughter of actors Nonie and Shamaine Buencamino, played Aimee Chaua, one of the lead character Sophie’s (played by Salvador) best friends.

The program’s cast and crew also expressed their deepest condolences to the family.

“(She was) a promising young actress and a sweet and kind girl who always freely gave out hugs on the set. We have lost a dear friend in Julia. In our hearts, she will always be our bestie,” the program’s official statement read.
