MANILA — Following his record low ratings in the first quarter of the year, President Aquino recovered his satisfaction rating in the second quarter, latest results of a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed.

The results showed that only 24% were dissatisfied with the performance of the Aquino administration while 55% said they were satisfied.

This resulted to a net satisfaction rating of “good” +31, 12 pints higher than the “moderate” +19 it got in the first quarter.

The government got a “good” grade +33 among those in class ABC, which is 14 points higher than the “moderate” +19 recorded in March.

It also got a 14-point increase among those in class E from the previous +24 score to +38.

Last quarter, only 48% said they were satisfied and 29 percent said they were dissatisfied in Aquino’s performance.

The record low ratings were noted following the Mamasapano clash in January 25.

Results of the survey were first published on Business World.
