MANILA — A service crew of a Japanese restaurant complained about allegedly getting fired because of Coleen Garcia and her grandmother.

Through a comment on Garcia’s Instagram post, @jejeromemalvar said:

(To Ms. Coleen Garcia, I was the service crew when you ate at ____. I hope that you are happy with what happened. I wasn’t doing anything wrong. First of all, I am not rude like what your lola told me. I was never rude with my guests.)

(First of all, I accepted your Lola’s card. My only mistake is that I followed my Manager’s mandate about the Father’s Day promo.)

The crew added that he is the bread winner in the family and his job was their only source of income.

(I am the only one helping my family with their daily needs. I am the only one they rely on.)

(But with what you did, everything is gone and because of your lola’s complain saying that I was rude, though I wasn’t, I was removed from my job. If you can read this, I hope that you’re already happy with what happened.)

In another post, he continued saying:

Which is not true. Never ako nagkaroon ng complain.”

(I am not blaming them but they were complaining that I was rude, which is not true. I was never rude in my 9 months of stay in _____. I never had that kind of complaint.)

(They told the management that I was rude. What else can I do? They are celebrities, I am just a service crew. Even if I explain, I can do nothing anymore. Even though what they were complaining about is not true. I was fired by a complain that I never really did.)

“Alam mo siguro and obligasyon mo bilang breadwinner ng family at feeling matatanggal ka sa work na hindi mo ginawa.”

(You must know the feeling of being a breadwinner in the family and being removed from work over something you didn’t actually do.)
