PAL flight diverted after passenger dies mid-flight

MANILA — A Philippine Airlines (flight) bound for Manila diverted after a passenger died in the middle of the fight.

An official of the flag carrier was cited in a report by DZBB Super Radyo.

PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said that the plane was supposed to arrive from Abu Dhabi on Friday morning.

However, Flight PR 657 had to land in Mumbai Airport in India following the death of one of its passengers.

The airlines, meanwhile, have yet to disclose the identity of the passenger citing company policy.
