MANILA — Vice President Jejomar Binay’s camp recently responded to the challenge of presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda asking him to continue his exposes against the administration.

“Sec. Lacierda told us to ‘bring it on.’ This is our response to him, be careful what you wish for,” Rico Quicho, Binay’s spokesman for political affairs, said in an interview with TV5.

He added that Binay will not stop criticizing the government for its alleged failure to provide for the needs of the Filipinos.

Quicho also lamented how the administration kept on singling out Binay’s family as a move to stop him from running for president in 2016.

“It appears that they want this persecution to go on forever. They keep on doing this. But the question is, why are they singling out the Binay family?” he said.

He added though, that nothing will ever stop the Vice President from running in next year’s polls.

“They are doing all forms of harassment to stop the Vice President from running.
