MANILA — Kapamilya actress and TV host Isabelle Daza is now earning flak from netizens after a hashtag gone awry.
On June 13, during a trip to Siquijor, the 27-year-old actress posted a photo of herself with friend and blogger Martine Cajucom on social media site Instagram.

Netizens reacted negatively to the hashtag “siquiwhores” — a play on the province’s name and the word ‘whore.’ Citizens claiming to be from Siquijor expressed their disappointment that their province was being connected to a derogatory term.
As of posting, the photo has over 11,300 likes and more than 350 comments on Instagram.
