GMA to seek third, final term in Pampanga

MANILA — Former President and Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will seek reelection for a third and final term in the second congressional district of Pampanga in 2016.

Her lawyer, Raul Ambino announced in a recent gathering of the Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry that she will continue serving her constituents.

He added that Arroyo was still able to look after the welfare of her constituents even while in hospital detention.

Arroyo’s willingness to seek for another term is  despite her illness and her continued detention at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City.

The former President is under hospital arrest for charges of before the Sandiganbayan.
