As part of its year-long anniversary celebration, GMA Pinoy TV thanked its loyal viewers by hosting back-to-back concerts in Vancouver, Canada and Anaheim, USA.

“We are grateful to GMA’s loyal viewers in North America over the last 10 years. We are inspired to work harder to keep the trust they have given GMA’s brand of news and entertainment all these years,” MA VP and Head of International Operations Joseph Francia said, thankful to the Kapuso viewers in Vancouver and Anaheim.

“Following the success of our Kapusong Pinoy events in various parts of the world, our concerts in Vancouver and Anaheim are only the first of many gifts that we are offering this year in keeping with our promise of bringing global Filipinos closer to home,” he added.

GMA Pinoy TV’s Kapusong Pinoy Vancouver and Anaheim brought along comedians Ai-Ai delas Alas and Betong Sumaya and singers Christian Bautista, Alden Richards and Jonalyn Viray who performed in front of over 3,000 audiences.

Ai-Ai and Betong came up on stage with their funny lines and gimmicks. Ai-Ai also did a sing-and-dance number while Betong reenacted his Antonietta character from Bubble Gang.

Christian and Alden serenaded the public while Jonalyn showcased her singing prowess. They all sang official soundtracks from GMA shows and some international songs.

Kapusong Pinoy Vancouver was held at The Orpheum Theatre while Kapusong Pinoy Anaheim was staged at the City National Grove of Anaheim.

Both concerts received positive feedbacks, with netizens posting #Sampuso in social media.
