MANILA — KC Concepcion shared how her stepfather, Presidential Assistant for Food Security, Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, supported the photo exhibit she spearheaded for the benefits of earthquake victims in Nepal.

Concepcion posted a photo of Pangilinan posing with one of the photos in the exhibit with the caption:

“So sweet of you to pop by the exhibit, Dad!!! S/O for purchasing your #KCxMN photo @ 2×3 ft. It truly means a lot. #PHxNEPAL #PhotographyForACause #Family #TheKidsWillBeAlright #UNWFP”

The post was amid reports that Concepcion has been in a rift with her mother, Sharon Cuneta.

Cuneta earlier admitted that she has a rift with Concepcion for reasons that are “sad and not made public as they are personal.”

She also said that the rift “have been going on for way longer than people will ever know.”

Concepcion also remained silent on the issue adding that she is hoping that they will resolve their differences soon.

“I feel na to protect her, ayoko nang magsalita at palakihin ‘yung issue, and because I love my family, I feel na… I’m very hopeful na whatever we’ve been going through for a long time na, will be fixed,” she said.

(I feel that in order to protect her, I don’t want to talk about the issue anymore. Because I love my family, I feel that I’m very hopeful that whatever we’ve been going through for a long time, will be fixed.)

“I’d like to keep family affairs private. For me, and this is just me — to protect my family, to protect my mom, I would rather keep our family affairs private,” she added.
