Lyca’s advice to ‘The Voice Kids’ contenders

MANILA — “The Voice Kids” first-ever winner Lyca Gairanod gave her message to the new batch of contenders.
“Sana wag kayo mawalan ng pag-asa. Manalo o matalo, go parin ng go. Andyan naman si God sa atin, sumusuporta,” Lyca said.
She made the statement during an interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight.”
When asked to comment how she feels after winning as the Child Star of the Year in Pepsters Choice Awards, Lyca said she never expected to win the award.
“Masaya po, hindi ko nga po akalain na mananalo po ako sa Pep. Hindi ko po talaga inexpect na mananalo po ako dun sa Pep,” she said.
(I’m happy. I really did not expect to win.)
During the interview, Lyca also performed a few lines from “Sa Isang Awit,” one of the songs in her new album.
