MANILA – As she takes the iconic role of Yna Macaspac in the remake of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” Kathryn Bernardo gets a simple message from Kristine Hermosa, who also played the same role in the original version of the hit ABS-CBN series.

In a video uploaded by celebrity stylist John Valle, Hermosa said:

“Hi Kath! Congrats. Galingan niyo. Magpakabait ka and be wise. Okay?”

Bernardo, meanwhile said on earlier reports that she is pressured with the success of the original “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” series.

I’m very happy and pressured.

(It gives me pressure because we all know that “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” is a classic teleserye. When you say “Pangako Sa ‘Yo everyone believes that its a big project. I’m very happy and pressured. I really need to give justice to the role they gave me.)

The young actress added that she do not want to match Hermosa.

Sana magustuhan nila,” she said.
