Binay challenge Trillanes to file a case
MANILA — Vice President Jejomar Binay challenged Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Wednesday to file a case against him.
This is following allegations that Binay bought an injunction from the Court of Appeals to stop the suspension of his son, Mayor Junjun Binay.
“Tingnan natin kung ano ang magiging consequences sa sinabi niya. That’s his statement, ‘di i-file na niya,” the Vice President said in an interview with reporters in Pasay City.
(Let’s see the consequences of his statement. That’s his statement, then he should file a case.)
He also mocked Trillanes “style” of claiming things without presenting evidence calling it “Tatak Trillanes.”
“Ito naman puros sabi-sabi wala naman siyang mapu-pruweba. Anyway, ‘yun na yata ‘yung tatak Trillanes,” he said when sought for comment on Trillanes’ allegation.
(These are all just allegations, he has no proof. Anyway, I think that’s Trillanes’ style)
“Narinig mo naman sinabi ko, tatak Trillanes ‘yung mambibintang, maninira, manlalait, hindi naman niya maipruweba,” he added.
(You heard what I said, it’s Trillanes’ style — to accuse, malign but he can’t prove it.)
