Globe introduces latest Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge

MANILA — Ayala-led Globe Telecom Inc. (Globe) on Saturday announced the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge last Friday which can already be pre-ordered by potential customers.

Globe said that customers could already see the new devices for viewing in Globe stores in Greenbelt, Glorietta, Shangri-la, SM Megamall, and Rockwell.

It is also available for viewing in Trinoma, SM North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, Robinson’s Galleria, Alabang Town Center, SM Dasmarinas, Ayala Center Cebu, and Abreeza Mall in Davao.

Meanwhile, customers can view the product in Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro and SM Baguio starting March 29.

Globe Postpaid Business Vice President Erli Valdez, in a statement, welcomed the telco’s latest offer to its customers.

“Globe is once again pioneering the launch of the latest devices in the Philippines with the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in our Globe stores nationwide,” Valdez said.

Aside from giving postpaid customers the privilege of being the first to experience the latest Samsung smartphones with Globe’s myLifestyle Plan, Valdez said that the telco was also enriching customers’ mobile experience.

Regular postpaid customers who pre-ordered online can start claiming their Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge starting April 18 at designated Globe stores nationwide.

To recall, Globe was first to launch its pre-order site to serve orders for postpaid and Platinum customers.

Globe customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge until April 5 will get free exclusive content such as three-month subscription to Spotify where they can create their own playlist with millions of songs.

They will also get a three-month access to HOOQ where they can watch from a selection of over 10,000 movies and TV series from local and international partners.

All customers who will pre-order online are also entitled to receive a free limited edition Samsung wireless charger and a discount voucher which will give them up to 15 percent discount on Galaxy S6 and S6 edge accessories.

Customers can experience the best of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge with the new myLifestyle Plan offers.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB is available at Plan 999 (with Php 825 monthly cashout for 24 months), which comes with unlimited calls and texts to Globe/TM, GoSURF499 (3GB mobile internet), all-you-want Facebook, plus free Spotify Premium for 3 months, free HOOQ for 3 months, free Gadget Care and Navigation Bundle for one month and free 1GB of Globe Cloud.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 32GB is available at Plan 1499 (with Php 850 monthly cashout for 24 months), which comes with unlimited calls and texts to Globe/TM, GoSURF999 (5GB mobile internet), all-you-want Chat and Facebook plus free Spotify Premium for 3 months, free HOOQ for 3 months, free Gadget Care and Navigation Bundle for 1 month, and free 1GB of Globe Cloud.
