MANILA — In line with the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution on Wednesday, the public is advised to avoid Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and instead take alternate routes, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Tuesday.

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino advised the public, especially motorists, to take alternate routes because certain portions of EDSA will be closed to traffic starting midnight Wednesday (Feb 25) where major events would be held particularly at the EDSA Shrine area in Quezon City.
