MANILA — A day after Kapuso celebrity Heart Evangelista (Love Marie Ongpauco in real life) celebrated her birthday, she tied the knot with Senator Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero.

The celebrity couple said their vows and were bonded in holy matrimony in the exclusive and stunning resort community Balesin Island.

Here are some photos of the greatest day of Chiz and Heart’s journey — where forever began.

Heart’s closest friends — including celebrities like Alessandra de Rossi, Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Carla Abellana, and Jennylyn Mercado — were present in the wedding as Heart’s bridesmaids.

The venue looked absolutely whimsical with white flowers everywhere. The couple’s wedding motiff was salmon blush and white.

Make-up artist Albert Kurniawan posted a photo of Heart — ever-so-blooming with her bridal glow on her special day.

The Senator — dashing in his suit — walked down the aisle first.

Since not all of their friends and family could make it to the exclusive island (only accessible by its own airplane), another reception is set in Manila on February 18th.

Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple!
