Binay is ‘100 percent’ sure about running — Junjun

MANILA — There’s no stopping Vice President Jejomar Binay from running for president in the 2016 elections.

In an interview with host Karen Davila in ANC’s “Headstart” on Wednseday night, Makati City Mayor Junjun Binay said that his father is “100 percent” sure about running for the highest post next year.

Binay’s son said that nothing is impossible for his father; not even a coalition between his father’s United Nationalist Alliance and the ruling Liberal Party.

“Who knows? Anything’s possible in politics.

It might be good [for] the country to have an alliance,” the mayor said.

Asked about his father’s possible running mate, Junjun Binay said:

“Many are possible. The question is, do they want it?” he said.

“Maybe someone who is an expert in the business sector. Maybe someone who is an expert in the economy.

We need someone who is familiar with the economy. So there are those factors he is looking at,” he added.
