PNoy reveals his intimate secrets on national TV
MANILA – President Benigno Simeon Aquino III revealed his deepest and most intimate secrets in a no-holds-barred interview with Vice Ganda last Sunday night.
One of which is that he does not like to be kissed on his neck. Aquino shared that he still has a bullet wedged near his carotid – the main arteries that supply blood to the neck and head – which he got as a souvenir during the 1987 coup attempt against his deceased mother, former President Corazon Aquino.
In a 38-minute interview for the show “Gandang Gabi Vice,” Aquino answered all the questions hurled to him by the TV host Vice Ganda.
First off, he discussed his love life. The 54-year-old Aquino shared that he is single, but he wants to settle down someday with a “younger wife so we could still have a child.”
However, he said that his love life would have to take a backseat first. He would rather return to “normal” life.
Aquino also admitted that he and TV5 newscaster Grace Lee were once a couple. But, he refused to compare who is prettier between Lee to celebrity stylist Liz Uy whom he had been linked to.
“I’m a politician. It’s difficult to answer questions like that,” said Aquino who later on mentioned that his most recent relationship ended just recently but refused to reveal his new prospect. “They say it’s important to keep a little to yourself. I would just keep it to myself,” he added referring to rumors that he is wooing a twenty-something flight attendant he met during his trip to Europe.
Aside from his lovelife (or lack of), the President candidly answered questions about Philippine National Police Director Alan Purisima, Vice President Jejomar Binay, former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and even about his receding hairline and the Palace’s shiny floors.
“I’ve learned to accept it (thinning hair),” said Aquino blaming the Conjuangco genes.
