Actor Matteo Guidicelli says he found out about girlfriend singer-actress Sarah Geronimo’s Disney Pictures project – in which Geronimo sings a version of “The Glow” – “in the news;” just like all of Geronimo’s fans.

“I’m very proud of her, though I found out about it online. I told her, ‘You should be proud; you should have told me,’” Guidicelli shared, as he shared that Gernimo was “too shy” to tell him ahead of the release of the Disney music video.

Geronimo was selected by the Walt Disney Company to sing the popular song from the Disney animated film, “Tangled.” The music video of her rendition was aired for the first time on the Disney Channel on December 6.

Speaking to reporters at the press conference for his latest film, “Shake Rattle and Roll XV,” Guidicelli shared that his relationship with Sarah has been “nothing but smooth-sailing.”

“There are more positive people around us now,” he added.

He also disclosed that his relationship with Geronimo’s parents has gotten better. “Things are good. We’re okay,” he said.
