Kuya Germs suffers from mild stroke, now undergoing therapy

MANILA – TV host German Moreno is now undergoing therapy following the mild stroke he suffered last New Year’s Day, according to his son Federico Moreno.

Also known as “Kuya Germs” in the showbiz industry, he is currently in the Acute Stroke Unit of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City.

“Don’t worry, he is doing okay. He is in good spirits,” said Federico through a text message.

He added, “It’s just that he cannot entertain calls or guests in the coming days.”
He believes that “overfatigue” may have caused his father’s stroke. Federico also said that they are asking prayers for the quick recovery of his father.

Moreno is currently the host of “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman” that airs every Saturday.

He was last seen during the wedding of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes last December 30.
