‘SULONG MANILA 2015 COUNTDOWN’ LAUNCHED VIA FIRST-EVER 3-D VIDEO MAPPING PYRO/LASER LIGHTS SHOW

MANILANS will experience a unique, more festive and more colorful Yule season this year as the city government, headed by former President-turned-Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada, in cooperation with the Mare Foundation, bring the country’s first-ever 3-D video mapping pyro/laser lights musical, ‘Sulong Manila 2015 Countdown’ over the stretch of Roxas Boulevard on New Year’s Eve, December 31.

Manila Bay skies will burst with magical colors through a grand display of laser lights and massive fireworks playing to well-loved Christmas songs present and past.

A similarly colorful pre-event activity at the Rajah Soliman Plaza, Malate, will usher in the ‘Sulong Manila 2015 Countdown’ starting from December 24 to 30.

Audiences will have the chance to savor the magic of Christmas by way of a 3-D video mapping projection skit that will bring life to buildings around the area.

The 10-minute skit will feature one family’s inspiring Christmas story.

Sponsored by ICTSI , Manila North Harbor and Smart Communications the first-ever 3-D video mapping pyro/laser lights musical is a project of the Mare Foundation, chaired by former Senator Loi Ejercito.

Mare Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life of underprivileged Filipinos through its various development programs.

Over the years, Mare Foundation has implemented livelihood programs around the country. It also provided alternative source of income to underprivileged families like a hog-raising project in Iriga, Camarines Sur, where it distributed 25 hogs to indigent members.

Apart from its various livelihood programs, it also delivers health assistance through continuous medical-dental-surgical missions in depressed areas nationwide and provide microfinance projects in Metro Manila.
