Man, woman facing several charges after police issue Amber Alert for 3 boys

EDMONTON — An Edmonton man and woman are facing several charges after police issued an Amber alert for three boys last week.
Police issued the alert for three boys they said were taken Friday morning from their home in northeast Edmonton.
Later that day, authorities found the boys — aged two, eight and nine — safe and unharmed west of Edmonton.

Police took a 50-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman into custody in Evansburg.

The man is charged with assault, housebreaking, abandoning a child and causing a child to be in need of intervention.
The woman is charged with abandoning a child and causing a child to be in need of intervention.
