MANILA -– Internationally acclaimed theatre actress and singer and coach on “The Voice of the Philippines,” Lea Salonga took to social media to slam an audience member of the ABS-CBN singing competition for posting “spoilers” of the results of pre-recorded shows of the contest.

Episodes of The Voice PH are recorded in front of a live audience, and taped weeks prior to the actual TV release.

Salonga vented her rage and frustration on Twitter at an unidentified person who has reportedly been spoiling the show’s outcome by posting online the names of the winners of the Battle Rounds, which has yet to start airing over the weekend.

In one of her tweets, Salonga said: “I am angry. Very, very, very angry. I am proposing that we no longer have audiences invited from outside ABS-CBN because of one a******… Thanks a lot, ********, for ruining the experience for everyone else. You no good piece of ****.”

Several  tweets followed, with implied expletives, before Salonga collected herself and tweeted: “For me, it is less about those results and more about the artists on every team that pour their hearts out through their voices. That is the part that makes this journey such riveting television.

“So, regardless of what you know, watch [the show] to witness great artistry in the singers that have made it to those Battles and Knockouts. Watch them as they navigate through the competition rounds, root for your idols when they sing,” she followed up

The Voice PH also posted a message that whoever would release spoilers would be banned from all their social media sites.
