Hacktivist group breaks into more PH websites following attack on Globe

MANILA, Philippines— BloodSec International, the hacktivist group that defaced four Globe Telecom websites on Friday, on Saturday attacked a number of Philippine-based websites.

The sites that were breached by the hackers include Expresspay, the government’s Technical Education and Skills Development–Calabarzon, the AMA Bank car loan service, and thePhilippine Society of Nephrology, a non-profit medical organization..

The hacktivist group left its calling card on the websites it broke into: “Your sites security has been compromised by #BloodSecurity. All your data belongs to us now,” followed by the message “Security is just an illusion.”

The group initially breached Globe Telecom’s sites, in what seemed to be some form of retribution for what it described as Globe’s “poor internet connection service” which the activists deemed “not worthy of [ what] we pay for.”
