PBA honored Pacquiao in his return

MANILA – The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) honored Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao on Wednesday.

Pacquaio was back on the hard court for Kia Sorentos game against Purefoods Star Hotshots at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Commissioner Chito Salud and Mayor Junjun Ynares gave the game ball to Pacquaio at the center court.

This marks his return as Kia’s playing-coach after missing the last seven games because of his busy training schedule in preparing for his bout against Chris Algieri last Sunday in Macau.

Pacquaio was able to defend his WBO welterweight belt.
