Pacquaio resumes basketball career on Wednesday

MANILA – Following his recent win over Chris Algieri in Macau, Manny Pacquaio is set to return to the basketball arena for the KIA Soretos as they face defending champions Purefoods on Wednesday.

According to Pacquaio’s business manager Eric Pineda, the boxing champ will be back for the Sorentos who are aiming to break away from their eight-game losing streak.

Pacquaio’s first basketball game during the opening of PBA on October 19 was seen by more than 52,000 fans. While he finished the game scoreless, the Sorentos won over the Blackwater Elite 80-66.
