MANILA – Jed Madela on Wednesday apologized for his recent post in social media website Twitter.

In his personal account, Madela posted this message: “Nothing’s changed.

Same old sh**. I’ll just smile and imagine I’m dealing with a bunch of monkey.

Many netizens reacted quickly and concluded that Madela was referring to the people of Cagayan de Oro or his colleagues at Sunday noontime show ASAP.

“Yes, I admit that I did post that status. I admit it was really harsh and rude,” said Madela. “But let me make it clear that I’m not referring to the people of CDO or with my colleagues in ASAP.”

He added, “I’m sorry if there’s any misunderstanding about it. It’s not about ASAP.”

When asked about what was the reason behind his post, Madela said that he would rather not say anything because “we already forgot about it.”

Meanwhile, his manager Annie Mercado said that she already reprimanded Madela and advised him to never post such messages again.
