Lawless group leader killed in Sultan Kudarat

MANILA — Troopers from the Special Operations Platoon of Marine Battalion Landing Team-7 have succeeded in neutralizing the leader of heavily-armed lawless group during a short encounter in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat Wednesday.

Edgard Arevalo identified the slain suspect as Ibrahim Dayao alias “Cdr King Cobra”.

“The said commander was dead after the brief engagement. His dead body recovered and high powered firearms were also recovered. Details to follow,” he added.
