6,344 examinees to take Bar on 4 Sundays of October — SC
MANILA — The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday said that some 6,344 examinees will take the 2014 Bar Examinations to be held at the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) scheduled on the four Sundays of October (5, 12, 19 and 26).
The official list of examinees (access here) was released by the SC (SC) Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) through Deputy Clerk of Court and Bar Confidant Atty. Ma. Cristina Layusa.
In a press conference, SC Public Information Office (PIO) Chief and Spokesman Atty. Theodore O. Te said that the Bar Examinations will cover Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, and Legal and Judicial Ethics.
Te said that the examinations will be composed of 80 percent essay questions and 20 percent multiple choice questions (MCQ), as was employed in the 2013 Bar Examinations.
The 2014 Bar Examinations Chairman is SC Associate Justice Diosdado M. Peralta.
