MANILA  — After a disappointing finish last year, King Eagle Kiefer Ravena is having the best season of his life as he was named UAAP Season 77 men’s basketball MVP.

It was a full circle journey for Ravena given that last year the Eagles barely made it to the Final Four.

Ateneo’s star player topped all the other players in terms of statistical points (SP) with 77.6. De La Salle’s Jeron Teng came in second with 68.2 SPs.

Ravena, who was also the Rookie of the Year in Season 74, led in points and assists at 21.

2 and 5.6, respectively. He also has an average of 1.5 steals and 5.9 rebounds per game.

His record is the highest so far after the UAAP adapted the new formula in 2003.

Currently, the Blue Eagles are in the semifinals with a twice-to-beat advantage.
