Jesse Wente, director of film program at TIFF Bell Lightbox, tweeted, “The news of an In-and-Out Burger pop up in Toronto tomorrow has thrown my schedule into complete disarray,” while another Twitter user lamented that she couldn’t go, saying: “I feel like my heart has been ripped out and stomped on.”

The Globe and Mail reported that In-N-Out Burger has been hosting pop-ups around the world since December 2011 and has been at the Langley Good Times Cruise-In auto show in British Columbia.

The chain of fast-food restaurants, founded in 1948 by Harry Snyder and his wife Esther in Baldwin Park, Calif., has about 300 locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
