MANILA – Sam Milby has opened up about his relationship with Shaina Magdayao. Athough Milby and Magdayao are not romantically involved with one another, they have reportedly been seeing each other on a regular basis.

In an interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” Milby disclosed that two years ago, way before this development in their friendship, he had already expressed his intentions concerning Magdayao to the actress’ ex-boyfriend.

Milby elaborated that in 2012, he received the approval of actor John Prats – with whom Magdayao was once romantically involved – to pursue Magdayao as his girlfriend, but nothing of the nature developed between them at the time.

Recently, however, Magdayao shared that she and Milby have been seeing each other regularly.

To this revelation, Milby simply replied that he is careful not to do anything that might destroy his friendship with Magdayao.

“Actually, nahihiya ako kay Shaina. Kilala niyo ako, hindi talaga ako magaling sumagot sa mga tanong. That’s the honest truth. And I feel so bad… It comes off wrong sometimes. And ako, I really value my friendship with Shaina,” he said.

“She’s one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She has a pure heart. You’ll never hear anything bad about her from anybody in showbiz. I’m very happy with where our friendship has come, and ayoko masira ‘yung friendship dahil sa mga issue,” he added; stating further that he sees the friendship continuously growing.
