Sy tops richest list in PH
MANILA — Mall tycoon Henry Sy tops the list of 50 richest Filipinos for 2014, according to Forbes magazine.
Sy, who owns all the SM malls across the country, has a net worth of US$ 12.7 billion.
He is followed by businessman and Philippine Airlines’ owner Lucio Tan who has US$ 6.1 billion, while Enrique Razon of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) is at third place with US$ 5.

Based on the report, the country’s 50 wealthiest have a combined worth of US$ 74 billion, up by 12% from last year’s US$ 65.8 billion.
Rounding up the top 10 include: Megaworld founder Andrew Tan (US$ 5.1 billion), JG Summit founder John Gokongwei Jr. (US$ 4.9 billion),DMCI Holdings founder David Consunji (US$ 3.
