Raptors $30 million training facility approved by Toronto city council

TORONTO — The Raptors’ new training facility cleared its final hurdle Monday, receiving approval from Toronto city council.

Doug Ford were the lone two votes against the $30-million facility to be built at Exhibition Place.

The opening of the 64,000 square-foot facility is set to coincide with the 2016 NBA all-star game in Toronto.
