MANILA, Philippines – On the August 17 episode of ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “The Buzz,” Vice Ganda, who was featured as guest co-host, said that he once had doubts about Enchong Dee’s “manhood”.

“Bakit ba pinipilit ninyong bakla si Enchong? Unang-una, kung bakla, e ano naman? May magagawa ba kayo?

Rumour mills started churning with questions about Enchong’s sexuality after the actor disclosed that he is in a relationship, but refused to reveal the identity of his non-showbiz girlfriend. This non-disclosure prompted rumour-mongers to question the true gender of Dee’s partner.

Vice said that he once had doubts about Dee because of his effeminate mannerisms.

“May lambot kumilos, di ba? Effeminate,” he said

May nakabistidang tomboy,” he added.

Admittedly, Vice stopped questioning Enchong’s sexuality after receiving clarification from a mutual friend of his and Dee’s about the latter’s gender preference.

Dee said in earlier interviews with members of the press that he is not irked by the rumours and negative comments about his decision to withhold the identity of his non-showbiz girlfriend.
