Oil companies to rollback diesel prices by 40 centavos per liter

MANILA — Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC), Petron Corporation, Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI) and PTT Philippines will rollback their diesel prices by 40 centavos per liter Tuesday.

The price reduction will take effect on 12:01 a.m., which specifically includes Petron’s Turbo Diesel and Diesel Max.

Moreover, Petron, Shell and Chevron’s Kerosene products will have a reduction of 35 centavos per liter.

Also, CPI and Petron’s — WPP of Gold and Silver — Blaze 100, Euro 4, XCS, Xtra Advance and Super Xtra — will have a rollback of 10 centavos per liter.

However, PTT Phils and PSPC said their gasoline prices will remain at its current rate.

The oil companies stated that the prices reflect the movements in the international markets, in which the Crude Oil Brent decreased to USD$ 102.35 per barrel from Friday’s US$ 103.50 per barrel.

Similarly, the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Crude Oil per barrel are priced at about US$ 96, from August 11’s US$ 98.09.
