ID CO of New Zealand and Fylographers from Russia won second and third place, respectively.

This is the fourth time that a Filipino representative in the competition won for the country. Other Pinoy groups that won include the Philippine All Stars (2006, 2008, and 2009 champions), Armistice (2011 champion), and The Crew (2012 champion).

The A-Team was led by coaches Angelica and MJ Arda. The two were selected to represent the country following the recognition that they received in the Varsity and Mega Crew Divisions of the World Hip Hop International Philippines-National Championships in May.

The team started to join competitions in 2011 making their debut during the Slimmers World Step-Up Philippines contest wherein they won second place.

Aside for this, the A-Team also landed in the second place during the World Supremacy Battlegrounds Varsity Division held in Sydney, Australia in 2012. A year later, they emerged as the champions in the said competition.
