MANILA — Despite all odds and the bumpy roads they have encountered, Matteo Guidicelli only has loving words for girlfriend Sarah Geronimo saying she is “worth everything.”

In an interview with ABS-CBN’s Sunday showbiz talk show “The Buzz”, Guidicelli expressed how much he adores his girlfriend.

“My family loves Sarah. I love her a lot. And I’ll do whatever it takes. This girl, I feel like a woman, she’s worth everything,” said Guidicelli. “It’s not because of who she is, Sarah Geronimo, it’s not that. It’s the person who she really is outside the cameras.”

He also mentioned how he likes Geronimo because she is always true to herself. “When we’re together, without make-up and everything, she’s very true. I don’t think I can find anybody like this person. I don’t want to lose this one,” he said referring to Geronimo.

A week ago, news about their alleged misunderstanding surfaced. According to reports, the couple had a misunderstanding because of Geronimo’s absence during the recently-concluded triathlon event in Cebu. Guidicelli participated in the Cobra Ironman 2014.

When asked about his opinion, Guidicelli flatly denied the rumors saying that challenges are always present and inevitable in every relationship.

“It’s not an easy ride. All relationships are difficult, are challenging. And I think these are just speed bumps to make everything stronger in the future,” he shared.

Geronimo first admitted their relationship last June. In a separate interview, Guidicelli shared that they have been together since last year.

“I hope so. I try to be optimistic in everything,” Guidicelli shared when asked if he feels that Geronimo is “the one” for him. “I want to be positive in everything. We hope for the best for everything. I pray every night for things to go well [for the both of us].”
