MANILA — Claudine Barretto blames his husband Raymart Santiago after paying P100,000 as bail for the robbery case filed against her.

“Thanks to him. Nagsayang na naman ako ng isang daang libong piso para lang sa piyansa at harassment na ginawa niya, imbes na inukol ko na lang sa mga anak ko,” Claudine said in a report published in the Philippine Entertainment Portal.

(I wasted one hundred thousand pesos to bail for the harassment he did, instead of using it for my children.)

Claudine also believes that his husband and her sisters, Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto, are behind the filing of the case against her.

“May conspiracy sila. Ewan ko bakit ako ang binaligtad nila,” Claudine said.

(They have a conspiracy. I don’t know why they are turning the tables against me.)

A robbery case was filed against her as a counter charge for the qualified theft case Claudine filed against two of her maids, Jenifer Murillo and Malou Becher.

The qualified theft case earlier filed by Claudine was junked by the court.

Claudine filed another motion to defer the issuance or recall of the warrant of arrest against her but it was also junked by the court.

The court arraignment attended by Claudine last Wednesday was held at Branch 272 of the Marikina Regional Trial Court.
