MAKATI CITY — A high-ranking executive of a large property developing firm died after falling from the 16th floor of his condominium unit in Makati City on Wednesday.

Police reports indicated that Vice President for Sales of SM Development Corporation Efren Tan, 52 was dead on the spot after landing head first on a concrete canopy on the 7th Floor of the BSA Tower along Legaspi Street.

Senior Superintendent Manuel‎ Lukban, Makati City Police chief told INQUIRER in an interview that Tan was identified as a senior official of SMDC by his relatives who later arrived in the scene.

The impact of the fall left Tan’s body dismembered in the canopy with brain matters splattered on the area.
