SURREY, B.C.—For the second time in a week, homicide investigators have been called to a home in Surrey, B.C.

Police are releasing few details but confirm one man died after being found in the home (in the 9300 block of 132nd Street) at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment of stab wounds, but could not be saved.

One person has been taken into custody but no names have been released, although the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says more information should be available soon.

A search continues for 33-year-old Barry McQuarrie in connection with an unrelated fatal shooting Monday night in Surrey’s Cloverdale neighbourhood.
