MANILA -John Lloyd Cruz is okay with the reunion project of his girlfriend Angelica Panganiban and her ex-flame Carlo Aquino.

In an interview with DZMM, the 27-year-old actress said that she didn’t even ask permission from Cruz before she accepted the project.

She explained that there’s no bad blood between Cruz and Aquino, adding that the three of them even hang out together.

“Actually kami ni Lloydie, nakakasama namin si Carlo. Weird ba no’n? As in, nag-ha-hang out kami. Pero siyempre hindi naman iniimbitahan. Kumbaga pag nagkita sa isang lugar. Hindi naman kami nag-iiwasan,” she shared.

( Actually, Lloydie and I are able to hang out with Carlo. Is that weird? As in, we hang out. But of course, we are not inviting him. It’s like when we meet in one place. We don’t avoid each other.)

Panganiban and Aquino, after nine years, will be paired in the upcoming episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on Saturday.

When asked if there’s awkwardness between her and Aquino, she answered with a resounding ‘no.’

“Friends kasi kami, kahit noong naghiwalay kami. Sakto, sa ‘Berks’ kami naghiwalay! Sa taping kami naghiwalay,” she said, laughing.

( We are friends, even when we parted ways. Exactly, we parted ways in ‘Berks’ (youth-oriented show in ABS-CBN)! We went on separate ways during the taping.)
