Maja Salvador refuted rumors that her reconciliation with Kim Chiu was just for publicity.
“Hindi po kasi maganda kung ipipilit po namin. Feeling ko ‘yung perfect timing lang,” she said.

( It’s not good if we will push our luck. I just feel it’s all because of perfect timing.)

In an interview on“Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday, April 29, she shared that she initiated the long-due ceasefire between her and Kim.

“Nagkita kami sa gym pero (hindi sa gym nag-usap). Noong nakita ko siya sa gym, nagtitigan (kami).”

(We met in the gym but we didn’t talk there. When I saw her in the gym, we stared at each other.)

She then asked a sign from God and the rest is history. Maja added that gym was their bonding place of Kim before.

‘The Royal Rumble’

Maja was also pleased on how the public supported the so-called “Royal Rumble” between her character Nicole and Monica (played by Angel Locsin) in the most talked-about teleserye “The Legal Wife.”

“Siyempre masaya po kasi hindi ko akalain na itong show na ito ay talagang pag-uusapan,” she shared.

( Of course, I am very happy because I didn’t expect that people will really support and talk about this show.)

She added that they didn’t expect this kind of response from the public because of the sensitivity and uniqueness of its story.

The confrontation scene lasted for ten to fifteen minutes. Maja revealed that they didn’t have a rehearsal prior to the controversial scene.
