Las Vegas – He’s ready and hungry for revenge.

Eight-division champion Manny Pacquaio is now in Las Vegas to prepare for his rematch against Timothy Bradley Jr. on Saturday, April 12th (April 13th noon in the Philippines).

The two boxers’ first encounter was on June 9, 2012, where Bradley won by a split decision—a decision that sparked uproar in the boxing industry. Since then, the fight has been known as one of the most controversial fights in boxing history.

In an interview with Reuters last week, Pacquiao shared his thoughts about the upcoming rematch.

“This fight is very important to me, it’s going to be a good fight and I’m excited,” Pacquiao said.

The Pambansang Kamao started training for this fight roughly two months ago with his long-time coach Freddie Roach.

“My training is going very well and we’re doing a lot of things that we haven’t done in the past,” Pacquiao said in vernacular.

“Bradley’s mouth may get him in trouble this time. Manny feels like he slapped him in the face. He thought Bradley was a good guy but his true colors came out and he’s talking sh-t and Manny is going to make him pay for it,” Roach said.

On Manny’s official Facebook page, he posted a photo with the caption, “This is the first time I have challenged for a world title that I lost. Do I want it back? You bet I do.”

Since his last winning fight against Brandon Rios, Manny now holds a record of 55-5-2 with 38 knock-outs under his belt. Meanwhile, Bradley has 31-0 with 12 knock-outs.

The two will face off once again on April 12th at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
