MANILA, Philippines – On Wednesday night, actress Anne Curtis got stung by a box jellyfish during the taping of “Dyesebel,” her newest “fantaserye” on ABS-CBN.

She is still in St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, as the doctors continue to monitor her rash and heartbeat.

Through her Twitter account, Curtis expressed her gratitude to her fans for their concern, “Been reading up on the box jellyfish and I’m lucky it wasn’t fatal. This summer, be careful when swimming in the ocean [and] keep [an] eye out,” the “Dyesebel” star said.

“I can now sincerely say, lahat ng puyat, pawis, dugo at jellyfish bites make it all worth it, dahil sa suporta binibigay nyo sa Dyesebel,” Curtis said.  ( I can now sincerely say, all the sleepless nights, sweat, blood and jellyfish bites make it all worth it, because of the support that you are giving to Dyesebel).

Before the jellyfish bite incident, the 29-year-old actress still managed to post on her Twitter account on Tuesday, “Good Morning! On my way to Batangas to tape for #Dyesebel! Can’t wait to hit the beach!”
