NEW YORK–Randi Zuckerberg, a sister of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, is turning to an old medium the stage.

Producers of Broadway’s “Rock of Ages” said Tuesday that the social media executive and entrepreneur will play the role of community leader Regina in the splashy homage to 1980s rock ‘n’ roll at The Helen Hayes Theatre.

Randi Zuckerberg, the author of “Dot Complicated,” will appear from March 14 through April 14.

“Rock of Ages” tells the story of a small town girl and an aspiring rocker whose glittery romance is set to a rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack that includes “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” ”Here I Go Again“ and ”Don’t Stop Believin.“

Randi Zuckerberg, who sang in an a cappella group at Harvard, left Facebook in 2011.
