(Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mvs\">Marcel van Schooten\/ Flickr<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>SASKATOON \u2013There&#8217;s been another threat associated with a series of suspicious packages being investigated by Saskatoon police.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday morning, emergency crews were called to reports of a bomb at Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute, a high school.<\/p>\n<p>A letter sent to parents by principal Paul Humbert said police were called immediately after an emailed threat said there was a \u201cpotential explosive device\u201d in the school.<\/p>\n<p>The threat was determined to be low-level with no risk to staff and students, and classes weren&#8217;t disrupted as police investigated.<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed Tuesday afternoon the bomb threat was connected to the recent white powder scares in the city.<\/p>\n<p>They said since April 11, five Saskatoon businesses have received threats suggesting an explosive device was in the building.<\/p>\n<p>Alexa Emerson, also known as Amanda Totchek, has been in custody since April 11 and faces 69 charges in the case.<\/p>\n<p>She has a bail hearing set for May 9.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they&#8217;re not seeking another suspect, but they are still looking for a woman who sent a video to local media claiming she was involved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SASKATOON \u2013There&#8217;s been another threat associated with a series of suspicious packages being investigated by Saskatoon police.
