De Lima assured on Monday she will comply with the subpoena duces tecum issued by the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee on the list given to her by businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles.<\/p>\n<p>Napoles is the alleged &#8220;brains&#8221; behind the P10-billion pork barrel and P900-million Malampaya Fund scams.<\/p>\n<p>The list purportedly contains the names of lawmakers implicated in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) misuse.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, De Lima said that she is ready to comply with the subpoena duces tecum issued by the Blue Ribbon Committee chaired by Senator Teofisto Guingona III.<\/p>\n<p>The committee on Monday ordered the submission of the Napoles list of lawmakers and other government officials allegedly implicated in the PDAF scam.<\/p>\n<p>De Lima earlier said that she would not yet reveal the names in the Napoles&#8217; list because it had first to undergo thorough and extensive validation.<\/p>\n<p>In a Senate briefing on Monday, Guingona said he has ordered DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima to surrender the Napolis list which is under her possession to the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>According to Guingona, it is time for transparency so that the people will know who are the people listed in the Janet\u2019s list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is time for transparency,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Guingona also said that former Sen. Panfilo Lacson would surrender the document in his possession.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lacson is committed to turn over the document to the Senate,\u201d Guingona said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA (PNA) &#8212; Justice Secretary Leila M.
